Forgiveness is one of the most challenging yet liberating aspects of the Christian walk. Ephesians 4:32 commands us: “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” Holding onto bitterness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die; forgiveness is the key that unlocks the prison door.
We look at the parable of the unmerciful servant in Matthew 18 and understand the depth of grace we have received. Colossians 3:13 reminds us to “bear with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgive each other.” Discover the spiritual and emotional freedom that comes when you release the debt and choose to walk in the love of Christ.
